Coastal Climate Extension Specialist

Liz Fly is the Coastal Climate Extension Specialist for CISA and the SC Sea Grant Consortium. She provides science-based information to coastal communities, resource managers, and interest groups in South Carolina and the region. She also contributes to research motivated by community needs and provides hands-on operational and technical support for coastal climate adaptation issues. Currently Fly serves as a scientific consultant to a citizen-driven sea level rise task force in Beaufort and Port Royal, SC, and plays a similar role for the Charleston Resilience Network. She is also the co-chairperson for the Southeast and Caribbean Climate Community of Practice.
